About Shiv Shankar Dham
Shiv Shankar Dham is a spiritual and social institution located at Shantipur, Ningthoukhong Ward No. 2, Bishnupur District, Manipur. Established on 10 March 2020, the institution was founded with a meaningful vision of bringing spirituality, learning, yoga, compassion, and service to humanity together under one platform.
Under the leadership of President Kh. Birla Meitei, Shiv Shankar Dham aims to be more than a traditional place of worship. Its guiding mission—“Temple of Learning”—reflects the belief that a spiritual institution can also become a centre for knowledge, character building, discipline, and human welfare.
The institution seeks to create an environment where people can strengthen their spiritual values, develop inner discipline, and understand the importance of serving others.

The central mission of Shiv Shankar Dham is “Temple of Learning.”
This philosophy represents the idea that true learning extends beyond books and classrooms. It also includes spiritual wisdom, good character, self-discipline, compassion, respect, and responsibility toward society.

Yoga Training Centre
Shiv Shankar Dham also includes a Yoga Training Centre, connecting the ancient discipline of yoga with its wider spiritual and educational mission.
Yoga encourages physical discipline, mental focus, self-awareness, and inner balance. Through yoga training, the institution aims to encourage a disciplined and harmonious approach to life.
The Yoga Training Centre therefore forms an important part of the broader Temple of Learning vision.

Shiv Shankar Dham functions under the leadership of its President, Kh. Birla Meitei.
