Our Journey
HEXXYDUXXYBOX began in 2017 with two members and gradually expanded to include artists and collaborators from India and abroad.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company significantly expanded its online presence through virtual performances, festivals and international video-art exchanges.
These initiatives brought participation from artists representing more than 70 countries.
This period also led to international collaborative projects and artistic exchanges involving regions such as India, Mexico, Colombia and wider South Asia.
These collaborations helped transform HEXXYDUXXYBOX into a growing international performance-art network.

Founder & Leadership
HEXXYDUXXYBOX was founded under the artistic vision and leadership of Satadru Sovan Banduri, who serves as its Founder & Director.
He is a multidisciplinary artist, Fulbright Scholar, PhD candidate and Visiting Assistant Professor at the College of Art, Delhi.
His background includes BFA and MFA studies in Painting from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan.
His artistic work spans painting, digital art, installation and performance, with particular focus on ecological, gender and socio-political themes.
He has organised and participated in artistic activities across 28+ countries and has conducted more than 180 online performances internationally.
